The 16th International Film Festival of St. Petersburg, the “Festival of Festivals”, which will take place during the famous “White Nights” in the movie-theaters of St. Petersburg.
The “Festival of Festivals” is the biggest non-competitive film festival in Russia.
Like every year the films will be shown in the traditional sections of the film festival:
“FESTIVAL OF FESTIVALS” - this section shows you the best films of the international filmfestivals in other countries such as the Festival in Cannes (France) or the Berlinale in Germany.
“NEW RUSSIAN CINEMA” – this section shows you the newest Russian movies from this and last year.
“SHORT FILMS“ – this section shows you films from young directors from all over the world.
“SPECIAL” – this section is this year dedicated to the 90th birthday of the filmstudios “Lenfilm” in St. Petersburg.
